Invest in Your Future with the Highland ISD Scholarship!

Highland ISD is proud to support our graduates as they pursue their dreams. The Highland ISD Scholarship offers financial assistance to graduating seniors and eligible past graduates seeking higher education or vocational training. Students who graduate from Highland are eligible to receive $2,250 per year of attendance at Highland for up to 12 years of attendance. In total, students can receive up to $27,000 in scholarship funds. The scholarship is administered by the San Angelo Area Foundation.

Eligibility:

  • Graduated from Highland ISD (Nolan County, Texas) or a current Highland ISD senior.

  • Applying within two years of high school graduation

Award Details:

  • Covers up to four years (eight semesters) of full-time enrollment (12+ credit hours) at a college, university, or vocational school.

  • Requires maintaining a 2.0 GPA. Students whose GPA falls below 2.0 may be eligible for reinstatement upon achieving a 2.0 GPA.

  • Vocational school tuition will be covered up to the total scholarship amount, divided across the program's semesters, not to exceed the actual cost of tuition, fees, books, room, and board.
